Sustainability

Wellbeing Is Shared

Our approach includes personal rest, responsible use of resources, local collaboration, community benefit, and care for the environment.

Small Choices, Shared Responsibility

At Insda, sustainability is part of the way we welcome guests, care for our surroundings and connect with the local community. We combine thoughtful operational choices with simple actions that guests can participate in during their stay.

Our approach focuses on using resources mindfully, reducing unnecessary waste, choosing locally connected products and creating benefits that extend beyond the resort.

Save Energy

Please turn off lights, fans, air conditioning and unused devices when leaving your room.

Use Water Mindfully

Enjoy a comfortable shower while using water thoughtfully, and please report any leak or water problem to our team.

Change Only What Is Needed

Thoughtful housekeeping and linen schedules help reduce unnecessary water, energy and detergent use while keeping your stay comfortable.

Separate Waste

Please separate recyclable waste, food waste and other waste using the available bins.

Support Local Community

Our programs and journeys may connect guests with local food, farmers, artisans, community enterprises, guides and nearby destinations.

Local Care, Less Waste

We choose locally connected amenities together with recyclable, biodegradable and refill-based packaging to help reduce unnecessary waste.

How We Put It Into Practice

We encourage thoughtful use of electricity, air conditioning, lighting and water throughout the resort. Guests are kindly invited to switch off lights, fans and devices when leaving their room, and to set air conditioning to a comfortable rather than excessive level. If you notice any leak, unusual water usage or resource-related problem, please let our team know so we can address it promptly.

Room cleaning and linen replacement are managed according to appropriate housekeeping schedules rather than automatic daily replacement. This helps reduce unnecessary water use, energy used for laundry, and detergent consumption, while maintaining guest comfort and hygiene. Guests who prefer more frequent linen changes are welcome to let our team know.

Guests and staff are encouraged to separate available waste streams, including recyclable waste, food waste and general waste, using the bins provided. We aim to reduce waste sent to landfill and help ensure that recyclable and organic materials are handled through appropriate channels. We do not claim specific recycling rates, as these depend on available facilities and partnerships in our area.

Insda is managed within the wider Chiang Mai Wellbeing Social Enterprise ecosystem and aims to connect tourism and wellbeing activities with local value. Depending on the program, activities may include local food, farmers, artisans, community enterprises, local guides, nearby communities and community-based destinations. Not every program contains every component; we use wording such as “may include” and “where appropriate” to reflect this honestly.
